Food For Week-ish II: Dec 14th w/Jack and Darrel

Image
I just finished editing another Food For The Week-ish video we filmed after the farmer's market on Wednesday with Zack and Darrel (who was filming).  Enjoy! :) Oh, and the apple bananas and longans were for Darrel, so he's the "you" I'm referring to there. He was filming and had the camera on a tripod base that had issues, hehe. He also had some of the oranges and citrus with me. I think I'm getting the hang of the new video editing application I'm using now, so I should have more videos coming in the next few weeks. :)

Overt Fat-Free Me! :)

Okay, so I've been considering this off and on for a while now. I've decided to go overt-fat free as my "regular" status rather than a "sometimes" thing. I don't know if I'll have enough of a steady supply of things to be able to go overt fat-free forever, but I'm a-gonna' try. I've noticed repeatedly that I feel better and seem to be doing better without the overt fats IF I get enough calories with fruit otherwise, that is. That has been a challenge with some of the banana famine situations and such, but I think I've got it figured out either way now. I may resort to partial dehydrating and/or freezing things and raisins at times if needed, but I think I'll do better with that than with the overt fats. If I do have overt fats it will be in smaller amounts as well. No more eating too much overt fats then doing none for a while to balance it out. I'm gonna' keep the total fats to 10% or lower every day, not just as an a

So I think I'll be able to at least record most of the food I eat, which is something a lot of people ask about... Here's what I've eaten today: small pineapple and 2 medium mango chopped and mixed together 2 fuji apples and 9 medjool dates green grapes 5 large tangerines cucumber juice, cucumber noodles, tomato-celery-red bell pepper sauce Again, it's all locally grown except the apples, grapes, celery, red bell pepper & dates, which were all organic. Hehe, I suppose that's most of what I ate today. Yeah, I didn't have ripe bananas or papayas today, and didn't have enough ripe mango ... so ate a sort of hodge-podge of stuff.

back again! :)

Yeah, so my site's been sorta' neglected here for a while. Sorry. Poor cobbler's kids you are ... I've been working on the FoodnSport site makeover recently and expect that I'll be able to start a makeover for this site too ... in a few months. I'm doing some preliminary things here and there as well, so there will be new life here in the not too distant future. :) In the meantime, I'm going to try to blog here as I can. As a start, here's what I ate yesterday and today: Yesterday I had: mangoes bananas (lady finger & apple types) jicima "rice" with tomato-celery-red bell pepper sauce about a cup of kalamansi juice All is locally grown, except the celery and bell pepper Today I had: one small-ish pineapple papayas (didn't eat the two small ones in the back-left corner) bananas (large lady finger, small-ish apple banana types) 3 large tangerines Forgot to take a pic of the rest: white mushrooms and tomatoes dipped i
