Kiwi Shamrocks for St. Patrick's Day

Happy Saint Patrick's Day! :)

So, I made a video of how to make shamrocks out of Kiwi for St. Patrick's Day, and tried to upload it yesterday to my YouTube channel ... unfortunately the upload process wasn't working properly and the video wouldn't process. Apparently they were changing the upload page and disabled part of it before updating the links to it from everyone's account, so some of us were left without the ability to upload. I've gotten it as far as I can for now, and it says it's processing, however I cannot tell if it truly is or not 'cause I don't get the status bar or anything. I can get the embed code and URL though, so I'll put it in here in case it finishes processing before I get up again. Now I'm gonna' go back to sleep.

Janie makes shamrocks out of kiwi exclusively using straight cuts. This method can be used with cucumbers, zucchini, and other green fruits and veggies as well.

Wraps are simple and fun, especially when you dip them. Tightly wrap the contents to avoid losing it out the ends. Alternately, you can have use all of the sauce on the sprouts for a wet wrap. Joys of Growing Your Own Food (Some of them, at least)

One of the top reasons I love growing my own food is being able to grow things I want to eat, and especially things I wouldn't be able to have access to otherwise. Cabbage leaves harvested from my garden yesterday. Case in point: the cabbage leaves I harvested yesterday. Believe it or not: these two leaves are the smaller leaves from a plant I have basically neglected for a while! (It is on an automatic drip watering system). They are an open leaved variety that is simply beautiful to me, grows well where I am, rarely gets spicy hot (if ever), is bolt resistant (so does not go to seed fast and I can keep harvesting for longer), and is great for wrappers in wraps (or chopped in ways cabbage is often used). Holiday Recipe Video: My Take on Fig Cake (Pan de Higo)

My take on a recipe traditionally served at Christmas is an easy, simple, and quick healthy low-fat raw vegan gluten-free holiday recipe which also follows the food combining principles of Natural Hygiene and 80/10/10.  I make half of the recipe without machines, and the other half with a food processor. Then I compare and combine them, do a little ambiance for it, and sample it.  Nutrition Facts are included as well. Enjoy! :)
